Kakimori’s beautiful letter stationery has been created in collaboration with artist Chika Higashi. Her works include exclusive illustrations that were carefully arranged into designs for casual use with attention to composition and layout.

Relation is an abstract image of people, objects, words and spaces.

Lumière, meaning ‘light’ in French, was inspired by Junichiro Tanizaki’s essay ‘In Praise of Shadows’.

The envelope fits up to L/3R size photographs (89 x 127mm), so you can enclose cherished memories along with your words.

Higashi creates her works surrounded by nature at her home and atelier located at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains at an altitude of 1180m. Her work features whatever medium that catches her eye on her desk from coloured pencils and pens to acrylics and watercolours, and is characterised by a bold and colourful style.
